To operate a switch, connect it's pin (5-9) momentarily to pin 3 ("55N"

series only) or to an external 8 VDC supply, in this case, sharing common

ground is a must for proper operation (pin 2). In the "55N" series, it is not

needed to share common ground, as supply is internal.
